MEET MANDY

I have been a massage therapist for 26 years, helping my clients enhance their overall well-being and quality of life.

My goal is to promote relaxation, stress relief and symptom management in a safe, comfortable and supportive environment.

About me

Since 2019, I have been working with children with cancer as the first pediatric hematology/oncology massage therapist at University Hospital Rainbow Babies and Children's Hospital.

While working with these critically ill patients, I noticed that after the diagnosis, parents forget to take care of themselves because they are focused - rightly -  on their child.  They become overwhelmed with taking care of their child and keeping life at home running.  The stress is debilitating.

Being married to a first responder and working in an emergency room for many yeas, I noticed similar stressors in first responders.  Caring for elderly parents, or for a spouse or a child with disabilities, creates similar challenges.   Day-to-day  life takes its toll on many.

I started Supportive Touch massage therapy to serve the needs of this caregiver population and anyone in search of stress relief.

Whether you are a caregiver or simply in need of a supportive touch , I invite you to schedule an appointment.

Meet the board

We are part registered non-profit, helping families experiencing childhood cancer relax with a healing massage.

Mandy Zaenger lives in Concord Township with her husband Steve, and their children, Corbin and Everly. Mandy became connected to Supportive Touch through her daughter Addie.

Addie was a cancer patient from the age of 9, until she gained her wings at 14 in 2025. During this time, Mandy saw first hand the importance of massage therapy within the pediatric oncology world.

She is excited to be a part of this organization and help share the true importance of massage for children going through the hardest of hard times.

John Malarney

I have lived in the Chagrin Falls & South Russell community for the past 30 years.  My wife Kate and I have three daughters.  Our youngest daughter was diagnosed with cancer, and we entered a world that we knew nothing about.

Mandy entered our lives during those hard days, and her interaction with our daughter always reflected positive results with her massaged and medical equipment readings.  She focused on our daughter and on us as individuals and as a couple.

Pediatric Oncology is a field that needs all avenues of therapy and treatment.  Mandy's firsthand experience is a valuable tool for the patient and families that are thrown into this world.  As our family continues to move forward in our cancer world, I have found that service is paramount to purposeful living.  Grateful to be working with Mandy.
